Anna had a good night last night and a good day today. She is sleeping very well at the moment, she usually goes down around 9pm, and sleeps for maybe 6 hours or so. She then may be up for a little while and go back to sleep again for a couple of hours. Her eyes are moving more when she’s awake, although still without obviously “seeing”, and she only rarely rolls her eyes back in her head any more. In general she seems to be doing better at differentiating between sleep and wake, and in her own way seems more alert when awake, and more asleep when asleep! It’s now much harder to wake her up when she’s sleeping. There are definitely many things going on in her head!!!
PLEASE PRAY for her thumbs. We discovered two sores, one on each thumb this evening. She balls her fists so tight, and it was probably her hand splints that rubbed against them. The wounds are in a tricky place, right in the crease of her thumb. Lael and I both laughed when we realized that one of the best treatments for them is… hyperbaric oxygen therapy! We spoke again to Memorial Hospital here in Lima today about their hyperbaric oxygen facility, but realized that they just have single-person chambers, where the patient is on his or her own. That wouldn’t work for Anna as she needs suctioning, so it seems the closest place with the multi-person chamber is indeed Wauseon, so she’ll continue to go up there every day. Twelve treatments down, twenty-eight to go!
Thank-you Jesus for healing Anna!
God bless,
Richard

PERSEVERANCE_ JEFF.IN V-10 N-3 SUNDAY_ 62-0218
107 A man or a woman that takes God's Word, you got ahold of something. Your anchor holds within the veil. The storms and gales may press and shake in every way, but you're anchored. She's coming right on up to the place. You're persevering. You're going to believe it.
Noah believed it, sure, and he achieved God's purpose for his life. Do you want to achieve God's purpose in your life? Then be perseverance when you--perseverant when you get the Word. Hold onto It, the promise; it's yours.
Moses. How many characters could I go to now. I say here Moses; over in Exodus, Moses, he was a scholar, a diplomat, a soldier, not only a soldier, he was a general. He's not only a general, but he was a coming Pharaoh. Amen. I feel religious right now, so excuse me. Yes, a coming Pharaoh... If he wanted to deliver his people, why, he had Egypt in his hands. He was the coming Pharaoh; he'd do what he wanted to when he become Pharaoh. But God spoke to him one day yonder in a burning bush.

119 Listen, brother, if you can come this morning with a vision of the will of God, if you can come with the Word of God, I don't care what happens, "I'm going to be persistent. I've... In my heart since I've been setting here, I got a vision of God. I'm persistent. I'm going to be--I'm going to be perseverant. I'm going down; I'm going to take over. This thing's got to leave me." It's going to leave you, brother. Don't you worry; it'll leave you.

140 Samson, Samson, he was very perseverant as long as he could feel those seven locks around him. He knowed that was a promise that God give him. And every man and woman could be as persistent as Samson was, as long as you can feel that power of promise around you of God. Here is the Word; the Word said so. And you can be perseverant as long as you know that you've got that promise in your heart, that faith that told you, while you're setting here now, that faith says, "I am healed. I'm healed." See? You feel that, just keep walking on. Brother, God will take care of the Philistines; don't you worry.

238 A man here sometime ago was telling me, said he went to... Said, "You know, a--a little bitty devil about that big stood up before me one time in a dream." He said, "That devil said, 'boo'; and I, 'umph.' And," said, "every time I'd jump back, he got bigger and I got littler." Said, "The first thing you know, 'boo,' and I'd jump back. And he... Every time go, 'boo, boo,'" jump at him. Said he'd get back, get back, get back. Said, "He got bigger than I was." And said, "I knowed I had to fight him. So I--I didn't find nothing, so I just picked up a Bible, and I... He went 'boo'; I went 'boo,' too." Said, "He got to getting little." That's right.
That's what you have to do; take the Word of God. You don't have to say, "boo," but say, "THUS SAITH THE LORD." Be perseverant; stand on the Word. It's Truth. We believe the Word today. We believe It like Micaiah believed It. We believed It like the rest of them believe. No matter how many says It's wrong, It's still True. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
"He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Could any man heal you? No, sir. It's already; you've already been healed. Can any man save you? It's already been done. How many believes that? "He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquity." Is that right? Right. "And by His stripes we were healed," past tense. Everything that He can do for you is already done.

E-11 "Perseverance," according to Webster's dictionary, I was--I was just looking, it means to be "persistent, to--in making a goal." You must be fully persuaded and be persistent. Then you're perseverant. And--and now, it's--it's a good word. I like it. I'm very fond of that fine word: perseverant. And I think that's the attitude that all Christians should be in at all times. Be perseverant.
And men through all ages that has faith in what they are trying to achieve, has always been perseverant. All down through the history of time, men that's ever done anything has been men trying to achieve something. And they have to have faith in what they're trying to achieve, and when they do, then they are perseverant.

E-14 I was thinking: at the beginning of the history of our nation, when a handful of soldiers on a cold winter day, and the odds all against them, them was American soldiers. When I read the history of our nation, it makes me cry in my heart. But their leader was a Christian. The Delaware was froze over, ice gorges in it. And I understand about half of the American soldiers didn't even have shoes on their feet, with stuff wrapped around their feet; them was American soldiers. And the--the obstacle was great; the odds was against them.
But yet, after all night prayer until he was wet up to his hips in snow where he had knelt and prayed, their great leader become perseverant, for he had assurance from God that he could cross that Delaware anyhow. He was perseverant, although three bullet holes was placed through his clothes, He had heard from God. And no matter what the odds was, he was still... He could be perseverant because he heard from God and believed that the God that was leading him to a victory for this great nation was with him. So therefore, the Delaware froze over meant nothing to him. No matter how much ice there was, or what the--the obstacles was, still he could be perseverant, because he felt he had God on his side.

E-28 Down there in Egypt, Moses come into conflict. And so... A man has to know what he's talking about if you're going to be perseverant. So he run into conflict. He run into some impersonators that was trying to do the same thing he did. And they did it, in a measure. But that didn't stop him. He was perseverant. Because he seen mockers of the right thing... He just continued right on, because that he knew that God sent him. And what the outcome in, that's up to God.
When Israel cried, he was perseverant. "We're pressing on." When they wanted to go back, he said, "We're pressing on." He was perseverant. Yes, he was persistent. Persistent, my, what that means to us today. Men of all ages who's got faith in God is persistent.
PERSEVERANCE_ CHICAGO.IL SUNDAY_ 62-0520
E-31 And if you can find out what your place is in the plan of God, even though you be sick and nearly dead... You say, "I'm a Christian. How could that be in the plan of God?" It might be in God's plan to heal you and give you a testimony that will shake souls to the Kingdom of God. Certainly. He lets those things happen. Maybe you had your ups-and-downs and the enemy scorching you from side-to-side. It might have been that way. That's all in the plan of God.
Look at Job, when he was afflicted, sores all over him. It was all in the plan of God. But Job too, was perseverant because he knowed that he was keeping God's Word. Nothing was going to bother him.
PERSEVERANCE_ CHICAGO.IL SUNDAY_ 62-0520
E-33 What ought you Pentecostal people to do when you see the Holy Spirit moving among us? You see Him performing signs and wonders, taking sinners and making them saints, taking the sick and healing them, making the blind to see, the deaf to hear and even raising up the dead, doing all kinds of signs and wonders. And then we set back like a bunch of whipped pups. What we ought to be is perseverant. Stand up there and take God... Feel His Spirit sweep over our souls in the power of His resurrection.
And then back up on His Word, say, "Would you pray for me again?" Pray for me again? God made the promise and Jesus died once. That settles it. That's all of it. Then be perseverant. Yes, sir. Be like real soldiers. Oh, how great He is.
PERSEVERANCE_ S.PINES.NC FRIDAY_ 62-0608
E-21 I would try to draw from this little text tonight or this Scripture, for just a few moments on the subject, or a word called "Perseverance." I draw that from the verses that I have just read. "Perseverance," "it's--it's to make a goal, be persistent." I like the word, and it very fitly to the church of this day, or it should be that the church should be perseverant.
Men of all ages that has faith in what they're trying to achieve has been perseverant. No matter what you're trying to do, you've got to believe in what you're doing.
A man once said to me, a doctor; he said, "Oh, I believe, Brother Branham, if--if the people would believe that they could go out and touch that tree and would be healed, I believe it would happen."
I said, "But my precious brother, men can't have faith in touching that tree. Faith has got to be based on something. And therefore, when a person can base their faith upon the Word of God, then you can be perseverant because it's the Word of God."
PERSEVERANT_ SOUTH.GATE.CA SATURDAY_ 62-0623
E-22 Now, I would like to read some--some of the precious Word here. And I want you to turn, if you're keeping tab (as we'd call it in the south) of the text that we're reading. I would like... I've got some notes wrote down here, some Scriptures. I'd like to teach just a little bit tonight on a subject found in St. Matthew, the 15th chapter, and let's begin with the 21st verse, St. Matthew, 15th chapter and beginning with verse 21.
Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coast of Tyre of Sidon.
And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coast, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Then came she and worshipped him, and saying, Lord, help me.
But he answered and said, It's not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat... the crumbs which fall from the masters' table.
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto her even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
If it would be called a text, I would like to take one word for a text, and that is the word "Perseverance." Perseverance, Webster says is "to be persistent, persistent in making a goal, to do something." To be perseverant is to persist. And before you can be persistent you have to have an idea what you're being persistent about.

Praise the Lord! I'm sorry Anna has sores but she is so blessed to have parents that are so attentive and find these things so quickly. We're praying that the oxygen treatments are just the ticket. It's nice to hear that she seems to be a little more alert. We love you and are praying for all y'all.
Love,
Larry & Deb
