 Anna Grylls Funeral Arrangements
Here are the funeral arrangements:

Viewing will be on Friday, January 2nd, from 5pm until 8pm, at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Road, Lima OH 45805.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 3rd January at 11am, at Bible Believers Church, 3500 Spencerville Rd, Lima, OH 45805.

The burial will immediately follow the service, and will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1751 Spencerville Rd.

We will then return to Bible Believers Christian School, which is located next to the church, for lunch.  I will add more details about lunch probably tomorrow.

Everyone is invited to the visitation, to the service, to the burial, and to lunch.

We are really happy with all the arangements so far.  The burial site is in a really beautiful part of the cemetery.  Both our parents are coming, which is wonderful.

I was a little premature in the blog yesterday, when I said that the strangest part of the day came at 7pm, when Anna’s nurse for the night didn’t come walking through the door. The strangest part was when we went to bed, and I switched off the lamp in Anna’s room. Except for power outages, that lamp has been on for 15 months – ever since we got home from Columbus hospital. The room was awfully dark…

Anna, we are so glad you’re having a wonderful time in heaven today!

God bless,

Richard

Though you turned her light off at home, her light with God will shine on.

It's the smallest things which are the most poignant but I agree with the above. I'm sorry it is impossible for me to attend but my thoughts will be with you throughout that time.

The other night at the dinner table Darren said "I wonder what Anna is doing now?". It was interesting to hear what the kids thought she might be doing. Wow...what a thought! thinking of her whole and running down "streets of gold". Sometimes life seems full of sad moments but it makes us long all the more to go to that beautiful place of no sadness pain or woe. May God give us all the grace not to "Give up the fight, for the battles almost over". Our thoughts and prayers continue for you and all that are suffering. Keep smiling!! Your other children will help you do that....especially Emily. :)

I think we can all view her, just look up at the stars

"When he shall die take him and cut him into stars and he shall make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with the night and pay no worship to the garish sun" Shakespere in Romeo and Juliet

I'm going to try to be there. If I am unable to be there physically - mentally and spiritually I'm there already.

We won't be able to make it this weekend but have and will continue to keep each one of you lifted before the Lord.
Mary had me crying with Darren's statement and just thinking how the kids may have responded. My thoughts started wondering too - her running through God's beautiful garden with many little ponds to splash her feet in, meeting my aunt, grandparents and a dear sister from our church. She's not a little one anymore, she's 18-20. As Lucille called her, "Her beautiful China doll", she's more beautiful than she was here on earth. I can't wait to meet her as I had longed to meet each one of you by now. If not on this side of glory, we'll be one big happy family there.
Lord bless each of you at this time. We love you!

Here is a little song for my precious brother Richard and his dear family

Let your heart not be troubled, let your mind be at ease
You have found the living waters, As you rest at Jesus feet
We have a course to follow, We have a ground to prove
We are waiting for a change, Let your heart not be moved

We are following the Author, the Finisher of the faith
He will lead us, He will guide us as we learn to seek His face
God is troubling the waters, that we might find His grace

Chorus builder:
Oh His love is everlasting, We need not be ashamed
To call upon the Author, the finisher of the faith
He has called his chosen people, He knows their very name

Do you know the name of Jesus, Do you know amazing grace
There’s a Life that flows from calvary and it’s still as good today
It will heal the broken hearted, it will set the captive free

If we will call upon the author, He will meet our every need
If we call upon the author, the finisher of the faith, We will see His works amongst us,
He will meet our every need …If we call upon the author, the finisher of the faith
There’s no other name that can heal us, there’s no other name to call,
There’s just no name like Jesus, may His dove rest on us All!

I wish we could be there but it's not possible for Larry to travel that far. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Christina (my daughter) sends her condolances. She feels your pain in a way most of the rest of us can't. It sounds though, like there is quite a "youth group" up there waiting for us.

Hugs and kisses to the family. Though the start is rocky, I hope 2009 is a wonderful year for y'all.

We are all with you, even though we not be physically present. Anna runs free now, free of all earthly pain and bounds. I am sure she smiles, sitting next to God and knowing how very loved she is.

If you've knelt beside the rubble of an aching, broken heart,
When the things you gave your life to fell apart;
You're not the first to be acquainted with sorrow, grief or pain,
But the Master promised sunshine after the rain.

To invest your seed of trust in God in mountains you can't move,
You have risked your life on things you cannot prove;
But to give the things you cannot keep for what you cannot lose,
Is the way to find the joy God has for you.

Hold on my child, joy comes in the morning,
Weeping only lasts for the night;
Hold on my child, joy comes in the morning,
The darkest hour means dawn is just in sight.
