 Anna Grylls
We are awed and humbled at the outpouring of love we have felt in the last day over Anna.  God's love has been poured out across this country and around the world, and we are so blessed to be a part of His family.

Yesterday, Sunday July 29th, I stayed home with the children from church, since most all of them weren't feeling well.  As usual we were in and out of the house.  Sometime around 11 I looked for Anna and found her floating face down in the little pond on our patio.  I brought her into the house and did CPR while Elizabeth helped me dial 911.  The police came within a few minutes and took over the CPR.  Then the ambulance came, and took her to St. Rita's hostipal in Lima.  From there they life-flighted her to Columbus Children's Hospital, which is where she's at now.

She is on life support (breathing machine), and is basically in a coma.  She makes involuntary movements, like lifting her arm a little, or opening and closing her eyes, but she has little or no brain activity at the moment.  She is absolutely beautiful lying there on the bed, I wish I had a way to upload a picture.

The next few days will be critical for her.  We are praying for complete healing - either way - and just trusting God that he is in complete control.  He showed that He was in control of the events that led up to this, and continues to be in control, and always will be.

This is the hardest thing I have ever gone through - please pray for Lael and I, pray for the other children also, they are staying with the Hatfields and the Schwartz in Lima.

As soon as I have more news and can get downstairs to the computer, I'll post it.

God bless you all

Richard

I don't understand you people, If god loved her so much, why would he let her drown in the first place? hmm.

I know that there may be no words to console or relate to what you must be feeling and going through. My heart and prayers go out to you and yours and with the tiny hope that my words may reach you please know that we must never underestimate the power of God. He is all knowing and miracles do happen. I'm not even a holy roller religious type but i do believe in miracles. My own child was injured severely when only an infant and he was blessed to be saved. Today he is living a very normal active life loving his childhood. Believe and let noone else tell you different. With prayers and love to you and your family.
