 Anna Grylls update December 24th
We took Anna to St. Rita's ER last night.  Her digestive system seems to be shutting down, so the valium and morphine weren't getting absorbed, and she was stressing out.  We got her some IV meds, which calmed her straight away.  They got us some different meds that she should be able to absorb, and we just got home a little while ago.

It always takes 6 hours to go to the ER...

Her breathing is very shallow now.

Jesus, hold her hand.

if anyone would like to come see her, you are welcome.  Just come by, but beware, the driveway is a sheet of ice.  Literally.

Thank you Jesus for healing Annie B!

God bless,

Richard

Lord Jesus, please hold her close to you and grant peace to her parents. Richard, thanks for posting that last video of Anna, at least we got to see her one last time on earth.
Rest little one, you've fought a good fight.

DEAR BRO. RICHARD AND SIS. LAEL, WE ARE PRAYING AND WE LOVE YOU ALL.
MONDAY'S BIBLE CLASS WAS ALL ABOUT OUR BABY ANNA. WE PRAYED AND SANG FOR HER. IT WAS SO AMAZING TO HEAR THEIR THOUGHTS ON EARTHLY AND HEAVENLY HEALINGS. AS I TALKED ABOUT HAVING A COLD AND BEING HEALED FROM IT.....WE CAN COUNT ON ONE THING...AND THAT IS IT WILL COME BACK. THEY ALL RAISED THEIR HANDS TO SAY YES, BUT IF BABY ANNA GETS HER REAL HEALING SHE WILL NEVER BE SICK OR HURT AGAIN. THE CHILD LIKE FAITH AND BELIEF.....FOR A BRIF MOMENT IT MAKES YOU FORGET ABOUT ANYTHING HERE ON EARTH. THEN THEY SANG...HE'S GOT LITTLE BITTY ANNA IN HIS HANDS. THANK YOU JESUS FOR OUR BABY ANNA'S ETERNAL HEALING. WE LOVE YOU ALL. JOE & KIM K

Brother Richard and family,
I don't know you at all and I haven't followed the story, but my mom follows the updates regularly. My mom and dad were talking about Anna, and my mom and I, after looking at the video, were saying that Anna should rather be rejoicing on the other side than suffer here on earth. I asked my dad "Did you see the video ? You would see how sad it is." He said "no, I rather see her smiling like I've seen her on the pictures, than to look at the circumstances right now, because it would weaken my faith for her healing". I realized he was right and our duty is not to pray for someone to die, but for the healing, especially at a young age like Anna.
Eventhough Nathan, a prophet, told David that his son would die, he prayed and prayed for his healing UNTIL he died. Then he stood up and kept on going.
I don't know what God has in store for her, but until her last breath, I FIRMLY believe (which I did not firmly 2 days ago) that God can do a great work through Anna. The worst it can get, the more glory He will get.
17 years ago, 6 doctors gave one hour to a lady dying from lungs cancer. They removed one and the other one was strongly damaged. Brothers prayed over a hankerchief and her husband brought it to the hospital. A week later she was at home and lived for 15 years with one lung and died 2 years ago but not of cancer. That was one of my dad's customer and she was not even a christian.
So nothing is impossible to God, we need those kind of testimonies to proof God is alive today. It takes a family to endure the pain to see a loved one suffering, especially a child, and unfortunately, God chose your family.
Be sure that we will continue to pray until God has chosen the verdict.
God bless you and may he give you the strengh to go through this trial.

Dear Richard, I am a friend of your sister-in-law Sharon. I've been following your blog from day 1. I have a little girl Anna's age and I cannot imagine what you guys are going through. I just wanted to say I agree with Jerome, till her last breath I will believe that God will raise her up. Some comments sound like people start to give up on Anna's healing, I cannot accept that, and I hope you aren't either. Of course we pray for God's will to be done, and if it is His will to take her from this earth,we have to accept that, but Anna is still with us, and our God is a God of miracles, so let's keep praying everyone. God bless you and your family richly.

Like said before...there are no words that can say all we feel. Thank you for keeping us updated. We continually think and are praying for you ALL...we believe until we see what God does. Either way...she will be healed. Praying for a special strength, renewal, encouragement...whatever you may need, may God grant it. We love you all!

Valium and morphine shut down the digestive system even more, I am not sure what the problem is but if there is a digestive issue the last thing the child should be getting is morphine that slows the heart kidneys and digestive tract my advice is to get her out of that hspital asap!!
