 Anna Grylls update December 24th #2
Anna is very peaceful today. We have held her a lot, which was really wonderful.

Her breathing is now quite shallow, and there’s getting to be a longer pause between each breath. She’s not tolerating fluids (her lungs fill up), which of course is not sustainable for very long at all. She now has her eyes closed most all of the time.

Psalm 97 particularly struck me this afternoon:

The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad;
let the distant shores rejoice.
Clouds and thick darkness surround him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
Fire goes before him
and consumes his foes on every side.
His lightning lights up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.
The mountains melt like wax before the LORD,
before the Lord of all the earth.
The heavens proclaim his righteousness,
and all the peoples see his glory.

Jesus, we trust that You are in control of Anna’s situation, and that You will make sure you guide all our decisions and care of Anna. We trust you to heal her completely, and we recognize that You are the one true living God, and You will choose how to do that.

We enjoyed this song yesterday:

We wish you all a peaceful Christmas. We will be trying for a little Christmas time tomorrow afternoon with Bliz, Jake, Em and Bubba :) Apparently they are quite keen to open their gifts…!

Thank you Jesus for healing Annie B!

God bless,

Richard

Such a blessing that you have shared this journey with all of us. I feel as if Anna is part of my family. I am praying for her and for all of your family. We celebrate her life and know that God watches over her. His beautiful little angel Anna.

Know that Anna appreciates you being there with her, holding her, comforting her, loving her through her journey. I hope that you can enjoy a blessed Christmas day.
Best wishes.

Peace

It is amazing to me how the Lord sustains you all. I am sure your witness in times of such extreme pain is a shining light to so many who previously wouldn't have understood the true meaning of faith. Bless Bliss, Jake, Emma and little Bubba - may their gifts bring them pleasure and may they know their baby sister is in peace. God's richest blessings upon you all. Elaine

"The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." -- Zephaniah 3:17

On this Christmas Day my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Asking God to show Himself strong on your behalf. Peace.
