well, i applied for another job today. i applied once before, and this will be my last time. i truly hate the interviewing process in arkansas, because these idiots don't have a clue.
let me say this has been a phenomenon in arkansas ONLY (how i wish i hadn't left austin for this dump). when we save up enough, John says we're going to texas, and i can't wait. therefore, i'll apply to any job i'm halfway capable of doing. i'm adamantly opposed to this state telling people to get a good education.
well, let's see what happens when you DO have that good education. most likely, your interviewer isn't smart enough to be the dullest pencil in the box. at one place, this guy was so off the mark that he had to have an HR rep sit with his butt. um, why is he still working if someone thinks he's gonna fuck up? duh!
i've even had people say i'd be bored because i'm so educated. like high school dropouts don't quit jobs.
i'm not going to ramble about this because i'll kill the bandwidth. arkansas is destined to be a state known for retirees, chicken plant workers and losers who work at a job so long that someone shoves them into a sup position.
next time, i'll dote on austin -- my new home as far as i'm concerned. John and i will stop at the state line and moon this place. when i get to texas, i'm falling to the ground to kiss it. then i'll trade my hillbilly license for the one i'll have the rest of my life.
