I dont want to sound like your parents or deliberately insult you but I get the impression your still really young and if you think your so selfish and self obsessed i cant help but think do you really think you could look after a baby maybe you and your boyfriend should think about the responsibility that comes with a baby before getting pregnant.

I am a white girl and when walking down the street if i pass someone of a different colour or race it does not occur to me to think i am better than you because i believe and always have been brought up to believe everyone is equal,no matter colour, race, religion, rich or poor everyone is capable of achieveing great things. But like aasha above, in london recently their have been many stabbings and shootings between young people and a lot of the pictures you see in the newspapers show pictures of young black men which is why since I have moved from london to west sussex iv found many young people of my age to be very racist which i was not use to, buti think this is the reason behind it that they hear about these stabbings and strat away think it was commited by someone of colour which isnt always the case( im just saying often the pictures are of people of colour) I have also found the racism down here in sussex is mostly commited by men, i find many still live in the dark ages because their isnt much of a mix of races.anyhow i no racism still exsists but the majority of white people do not think they are better than anyone of colour and i would be astonished to find out if a majority of white people did think they were better. good luck with your book hope to see it on the shelfs one day.

Hi i read your article and can honestly say i relate, I live in the united kingdom and in june just gone i left my high school, for the last three years i had been in the same group of friends and while in it i new how much bitching went on in the group but chose to ignore it because it was the safest thing to do, just like you said they all hunt it pacts. When i left my school the bitching turned on me and im proud to say for the first time i stood up for myself and let them know what they were really like and went completely off by myself for i while after i felt isolated and alone feeling i didnt fit in with any groups but i have started college and realised you dont have to be in a group i now have many different friends that hang out with many different people and i love it.
