My daughter has this "thing" in the inside of her lip, bottom lip inside of her mouth. First it looked like it was a bump, then a blister and then it was going away. So we thought. Now after almost two months of watching it, I decided a Doctor needs to see it. That is where I went last night. Her Doctor said that it is a Cyst inside of her mouth and he is getting an Appointment with an oral surgeon so he can remove it by cutting it out. Ouch!!! It is not cancer, nor a sore or anything transmitted. I made sure it was not. You never know nowadays. So now we are waiting for our phone call so we can go to our next appointment: Oral Surgery. I am a bit scared for her but know it will be good. After it is gone she'll be better. She is trying to hide it and it gets in the way of her eating. She keeps biting it and gets annoyed when other little kids ask her about it. Help!!! Her social life is suffering. We waited like almost two hours for her to be seen, but he is a great doctor and provides everyone with the necessary information. Also the clinic is connected to a huge Hospital, so we can always be assured of everything happening quickly and effectively. I love the staff as well. I was surprised by getting an appointment like right away. Dr. A even asked about my sons health. I assured him everything was alright and he'll see him in August when their check-up is due.
My daughter is already feeling better about herself cuz I told her it will be gone soon. I don't want her suffering any longer. |
