Thoughts.com Blogs - I worked with pain all day long!!!

Since I hurt my neck and shoulder on saturday stretching myself I went to work this morning in some moderate pain. By my first break it got worse cuz I lift alot and move my arm around quite often.

I called my chiropractor and made an appointment for lunchtime. I have already pinched nerves as it is and he gave me a regular adjustment (all seven of them) and gave me two extra ones for my shoulder and my neck so I would not be in sooo much pain. He recommended to be on light duty for a couple of days and asked me to come back at least once this week. So I went back to work after my two-hour lunch/appointment and worked on the self-checkout. I hate to watch those cuz some peeps don't read or are patient enough to use them. Anyhow, I have to watch my lifting and make sure I don't hurt myself some more while I am at it. Thank god I go back on Wednesday to get another adjustment.

They make my back feel sooo much better. So when I went home tonight I had to move my Monday-Nite Laundry-Day to tomorrow. Instead my boyfriend came over and I cooked some Spaghetti and Meatballs and we had a wonderful evening just talking and hanging out until he had to go back home. I am really happy right now. The only thing that sucks is I have to go to work a little earlier than usual and I am not able to sleep in. My kids were good tonite too, no crying or whining and everybody was just happy to be together. I wanted to play with my mousies but they are napping and trying to be alone, so I need to give them their little space. I am sure I have plenty of Mouse-Time tomorrow when I have to do a cage check and clean some parts of it and add more treats to their bowls. I am pretty tired from today, adjustments and all and just wanna crawl into bed. Shower first, of course. It was sooooooo windy outside today I could not believe it. They even had issued a warning at the beach for those crazy guys who love to take advantage of those waves... Other than hurting alot from my shoulder/neck pain nothing really interesting happened. Not even a crazy customer today!!! WOW. How lucky was I???
