Is HE one who exists as three distinct Persons (3 IN 1 OR 1 IN 3 ?)
Is he ONE yet UNIVERSAL ? (ONE IN MANY?)
Is he ONE AND ONLY ?
Who can describe GOD ALMIGHTY, than HE HIMSELF ??
Should we give our own view about him ?
How does GOD introduce himself to the mankind ?
let's see !

Trinity - The father is God, Jesus is God,The Holy Spirit is God,
Understanding the Trinity
-----------------------------
The traditional view of God that has been held by Christians for the last 2,000 years is that he exists as three persons,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit* - not that there are three separate Gods, nor that he is one God wearing three different hats
but that there is only one God who exists as three distinct Persons.
This view has its roots in the Bible and was spelled out in credal form by the church of the fourth century.
We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those
who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died
for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible.
If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring,
"Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

NOW WHAT DOES BIBLE SAY ?
CONCEPT OF GOD IN OLD TESTAMENT:
1.
God is One
The following verse from the book of Deuteronomy contains an exhortation from Moses (pbuh):
"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhad".
It is a Hebrew quotation which means:
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord"
[The Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4]
2.
Unity of God in the Book of Isaiah
The following verses are from the Book of Isaiah:
(i)
"I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour."
[The Bible, Isaiah 43:11]
(ii)
"I am Lord, and there is none else, there is no God besides me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 45:5]
(iii)
"I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 46:9]
3.
Old Testament condemns idol worship
(i)
Old Testament condemns idol worship in the following verses:
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."
[The Bible, Exodus 20:3-5]
(ii)
A similar message is repeated in the book of Deuteronomy:
"Thou shalt have none other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that is in the water beneath the earth."
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."
[The Bible, Deuteronomy 5:7-9]

Hinduism
Trinity - Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. They are respectively the creator, preserver and destroyer of the universe.
Forms of Gods and Goddesses - Each God in the trinity has his consort. To Brahma is Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge.
For Vishnu is Lakshmi, the Goddess of love, beauty and delight. For Shiva is Kali (Parvati) ,te Goddess of power, destruction and transformation. These are the three main forms of the Goddess,as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are the three main forms of the God. The three Goddesses are often worshipped in their own right as well as along with their spouses.
The Avatars of Lord Vishnu - Parashurama shows the man of power, Rama the Divine warrior and protector,Krishna the Divine lover, Buddha the Divine sage, and Kalki the completer and saviour
The Devatas - Agni and Surya (a planet deity) are also very important Gods of the Vedic era. Yagna or Homa,or the ritual involving fire was a very important sacrament during the vedic period, during the homa, offerings were made to Agni.
Animal Deities - Hindus see divinity in all living creatures. Animal deities therefore, occupy an important place in Hindu dharma. Animals, for example, are very common as form of transport for various Gods and Goddesses
Though Truth is One it is also Universal, not an exclusive formulation. It is an inclusive, not an exclusiveOneness - a spiritual reality of Being - Consciousness - Bliss, which could be called God but which transcends all names.
The different Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism represent various functions of this One Supreme Divinity,
and are not separate Gods. Having many names for something is not necessarily a sign of ignorance of its real nature.
On the contrary, it may indicate an intimate knowledge of it. For example, Eskimos have forty-eight different names
for snow in their language because they know snow intimately in its different variations, not because they are ignorant
of the fact that all snow is only one. The many different deities of Hinduism reflect such an intimate realization of
the Divine on various levels.

NOW LETS SEE WHAT THEIR HOLY SCRIPTURES SAY;
THE VEDAS
Vedas are considered the most sacred of all the Hindu scriptures. There are four principal Vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda.
1. Yajurveda
The following verses from the Yajurveda echo a similar concept of God:
1.
"na tasya pratima asti
"There is no image of Him."
[Yajurveda 32:3]5
2.
"shudhama poapvidham"
"He is bodyless and pure."
[Yajurveda 40:8]6
3.
"Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste"
"They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti."
[Yajurveda 40:9]7
Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.
4.
The Yajurveda contains the following prayer:
"Lead us to the good path and remove the sin that makes us stray and wander."
[Yajurveda 40:16]8
2. Atharvaveda
The Atharvaveda praises God in Book 20, hymn 58 and verse 3:
1. "Dev maha osi"
"God is verily great"
[Atharvaveda 20:58:3]9
3. Rigveda
1.
The oldest of all the vedas is Rigveda. It is also the one considered most sacred by the Hindus. The Rigveda states in Book 1, hymn 164 and verse 46:
"Sages (learned Priests) call one God by many names."
[Rigveda 1:164:46]
2.
The Rigveda gives several different attributes to Almighty God. Many of these are mentioned in Rigveda Book 2 hymn 1.
Among the various attributes of God, one of the beautiful attributes mentioned in the Rigveda Book II hymn 1 verse 3, is Brahma. Brahma means ‘The Creator’.
Describing Almighty God in anthropomorphic terms also goes against the following verse of Yajurveda:
"Na tasya Pratima asti"
"There is no image of Him."
[Yajurveda 32:3]
Another beautiful attribute of God mentioned in the Rigveda Book II hymn 1 verse 3 is Vishnu. Vishnu means ‘The Sustainer’.
9[Atharveda Samhita vol 2 William Dwight Whitney page 910]
Vishnu among Hindus, is that of a God who has four arms, with one of the right arms holding the Chakra, i.e. a discus and one of the left arms holding a ‘conch shell’, or riding a bird or reclining on a snake couch. Muslims can never accept any image of God. As mentioned earlier this also goes against Svetasvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 19.
"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him"
The following verse from the Rigveda Book 8, hymn 1, verse 1 refer to the Unity and Glory of the Supreme Being:
3.
"Ma cid anyad vi sansata sakhayo ma rishanyata"
"O friends, do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One. Praise Him alone."
[Rigveda 8:1:1]10
4.
"Devasya samituk parishtutih"
"Verily, great is the glory of the Divine Creator."
[Rigveda 5:1:81]11

“Verily, it is We who have revealed the Quran, and of a surety We will guard it (from corruption).”
“O Mankind! The Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe, then, for your own good! And if you deny the truth - behold, unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, and God is indeed all-knowing, wise!” (Quran 4:170)
"there is no deity worthy of worship except the One True Almighty God" (in Arabic: "La ilaha ill Allah").
“So the truth is from your Lord. Let him who will, believe, and let him, who will, reject it.” ( 18:29 ).
The Holy Quran has forcefully declared: “Let there be no compulsion in religion; truth stands out clear from error” (2:256).
