While I was digging my way out of this most recent winter storm, I decided to make the shoveling a good thing. Yes I know it's a difficult and almost impossible task, but leave it to me to challenge traditional thinking...
There I was, a young and unbelievably weak woman, wearing a cord coat, a hat/scarf set and pj pants (tank pj on sale now at victorias secret.com only $20 reg. like $45) ready to face a monster that has flustered out ancestors since the first winter they settled here. I figure no one has control over the weather, so why should I let a little (ok, a lot) slushy, gross snow ruin my day?
Armed with my oh-so-chic silver and black shovel I happily, almost gleefully, shoveled our driveway three times. Though now my body aches I take the pain in strides almost as a difficult work out completed. So now I pass on the challenge to you, my dear reader, Embrace and make the best of the muck.
