 The Thought

I have never understood blogging until very recently, where I was like: I would love to have random people read my thoughts with out having to annoy my friends with insanity!
I decided, hey. Why not try a generic blog spot and just go, if I get an audience, so be it. If i dont....then i have entertained myself.
And here it comes, my thought of the day.

Could I sell my self for sex? Could I get paid to have sex? Be on camera? How would I negotiate my body?

The initial answer is no, I mean I have a lot of self respect, but I am really timid when it comes to a lot of sexual acts. Sure I can joke about it, watch it, hear friends talk, but I grew up in a home where sex was never talked about. It was taboo to kiss in front of someone. So honestly even though the porn and sex trade business is fragrent, I do not beleive I would be able to make a logical argument to be paid for sex acts.

What do you beleive on the subject, let me know and start a discussion.

I think that you shouln't be paid for sex, because prostetutes aren't good, because really, you're selling yourself. I really don't think being a prostetute is a good thing at all.

I think it has been said too many times before - though not on a blog - but the sex trade is the oldest business in the world.
it is mentioned in the Old & the New Testiments plus Willie.Shak, bless his heart has charectures who make refference...
Wheather it is a good thing seems to relate to where you are on the socio-ecenomic stage.
The actual Traders - good or bad? Again this is a many phasseted situation. It is possible for a person to be psycologicaly inclined to to it, but on the other hand in this day and age it is more likelly to be closly linked in with money,
in as much as it is needed to eat. This in turn is connected to poor living standards, poverty and the drugs trade. Would any one like to comment further?

Get realistic and legalise it, is what I think (and always have). Its not going to go away while a demand and a market exists, and if it was legalised it would be better regulated. I have no problems with the sex trade per se, only with vulnerable people being exploited.

I agree with Neptune rising. To keep it taboo etc is like the ostrich sticking its head in the sand and hoping the problem will just magically go away somehow.
