| The Affinity For Fame |
The world of television has taken a dramatic turn in the last ten years with the invention of reality t.v. Now it makes up 25% of television and thats incredible almost every sector from business to religion all have reality shows. The viewer ship is huge maybe it's because people just love to see other make a fool of themselves some use this to validate their struggles as they can relate to the situations in one form or another. No jumping from one building to the next and stopping bullets this is raw and real. But is it really real? The answer is no the mere fact that a camera crew is there has to have a impact on one's behavior and yet the audience sees them as real people with true stories. What certainly is real is what these contestant or stars of reality show will do for the publicity. Now we have the Octa-mom, Kate Plus Eight, and many more looking for stardom. The latest attempt is the Balloon dad or the guy with no shame. How could he, how dare he play with the emotions of the entire nation and has his son in the middle of this madness. He is crazy to try but really crazy to think that he could have pulled off that stunt and succeed. Video's on you-tube of his son's using profanity in a rap song written by daddy dearest shows you that he is willing to sacrifice his own sons upbringing for celebrity status and mommy was all in on the charade.
What he may succeed in is to get a reality show because lets face if if he should go on air today the same people that condemns his behavior will be watching. We love to watch maybe its human nature and thats one reason why we will never escape the peeping Toms of this world. Another thing that is certain if you was an observer observing this world your conclusion would be ' these people are mad'.
