Tomorrow I'm going to try a different approach. Instead of just talking til I'm blue in the face I'm going to try to just make it so that something good is happening when we're reading, something good is happening when we're talking. Aidan is signing and talking more, but Nadia is not, and my stress about it is probably showing. So, less teaching, more pleasant interactions, being sensitive to when Nadia is wanting to engage and when she is focused elsewhere. Not forcing, but taking the opportunities when they arise. That's the plan for now.
Also getting the kids to bed earlier, a little bit at a time. Tomorrow I'm trying for 830.
Sydney asked me tonight if we could paint tomorrow. I said yes. |
