My sister is in town, which is such a happy thing.  I've had a great day.
  Books I checked out at the library today:

• After the Ecstasy, the Laundry.  This is about what it's like when a mystic goes shopping, etc.
• The Secret Stength of Depression.  (Hmmm....)
• The Prophet by K. Gibran (poetry, I've been meaning to read it for a long time)
• The Universe in a Single Atom (by the Dalai Lama).  I'll probably actually read this in order, from cover to cover, which almost never happens.  It looks really interesting.
• Disgressions on Some Poems by Frank O'Hara.  Also very interesting.  I love especially love "Having a Coke with You".
