I don't mind the crazy patients.  Actually they are quite fun sometimes.  But it gets old, trying to dialyze someone who is trying to get out of bed.  Of course by now I have seen a number of accidents resulting from this.  It's possible to be on the  machine and get up and start walking, as if there are no needles in your arm.  It's also possible to pull out a dialysis catheter in the middle of treatment, and yet leave the stitches intact.  Go figure.  
  I'm tired tonight.  Listened to songs from Juno.  I am struck by the need to focus on now and not worry about the future, and yet, the need to go forward.   Striking the balance , maybe that just takes practice.  Tomorrow I'll practice some more.
