| A Message to You |
I wanted to shout after you…. Don’t leave me… those stupid words; give me a second chance, even though I don’t deserve it…
Even though I messed up everything, even though I betrayed your trust, your love. You. It is funny how fast it all can be broken. One word less. One word more. One word ‘saved’ for a better timing that never came. The word that changed the way you look at me, the way you feel for me. That changed both you and me.
I say, better to know the real and bad Me, than to have an illusionary idea of what I pretended to be. But is it really that way? Now neither my conscience, nor you mind is free. I feel ashamed, not even close…
You promised me everything, tried to give me everything, but I was too scared to accept it. Too foolish to truly believe, too lost to make the right choice.
You will never look at me with the same eyes. And if I ever see you again, I will always know how much I hurt you, how disappointed you are and how guilty I am. I will never be able to bear the hurt in your eyes. It would sound lame to say that I never mend to hurt you. I am not even sure if it is really true.
All I know is that you will never read this, that I don’t deserve you to read it. And that I love you. Always will.
