Of course they are. But they're also often the ones responsible for keeping the poor in their deprived estate.

I do not agree with that quote. First, there isn't just a simple divide between rich and poor. There is also, middle class. Poor people are people who can't afford anything bcuz they just don't have any money what-so-ever. Rich people are about money, making it and keeping it. There are very few who actually does care about others and the problems going on in this world. Rich people do not pay as much tax as "poor" (if they can pay it) or the middle class people. Rich people are ever barely home with their families or just don't know how to teach rights and wrongs, which is why most celebrities and celebrity babies are running wild, teaching ordinary people what to do that you shouldn't do. Role models are what some call them. More valuable, no. Better represented, of course.

It would have to be dependent upon your value system. In capitalism, it's very true - money is everything. In Christianity, it's completely false. I'm a devout Earthling - under my value system, all are of equal value.
