 Violence and Non-Violence
There is a fetishism of violence among the more revolutionary anarchists and communists;
but, there is also a fetishism of nonviolence among the more reformist liberal democrats
and libertarian socialists. Violence is never justified; even if and when violence is ever made
necessary as a means to counter aggressive reactionary violence.

A socialist revolution does not necessitate violence.  If a socialist revolution involves
violence, this violence will have come from reactionary forces.  It is necessary and
important to differentiate those who initiate violence, and those who utilize violence in order to stop violence.  If and when there is a socialist revolution, the democratic majority will not
need to employ or initiate violence, but the reactionary minority will initiate violence in order
to stop the majority from having its way.  Ideological capitalists are used to violence; they do
not see the violence of capitalism.  When capitalism is threatened, the everyday covert and
systemic violence will become overt and unrestrained.
