The most effective check on natural human evil is ever and always our natural human
goodness, kindness, and generosity.
Communism is not statist. Communism is anarchist.
We now have both statism and capitalism.
How can there ever be a check and balance on those with the massive authoritarian
powers given to them by the statutory powers of the modern state?
There are checks and balances established between the three branches of government
in these United States. But, there are no real and effective checks and balances
established between the citizens and the state. Periodic voting is not a substantive
check on the authoritarian powers of the state. There is no existent balance of power,
such that the power of the politicians is matched by the power of the people.
