| Human Freedom And Human Slavery

What I advocate is a democratic society; not an arbitrary collective.
Even in the former Soviet Union, the people were human beings, with a human nature, and
therefore they were free. If the people were not free, then they could not be held responsible
for their own slavery and oppression. It is because the slave is free that we expect a slave to
resist, to revolt, sooner or later. When a slave finally decides to say "No!", that is the activation of
what was inactive. A dormant freedom is freedom that is holding back, waiting for the right time.
Dormant freedom is synonymous with habit.
