 Thoughts
There are professed democratic governments; but, these professed democratic governments
are not genuine democratic governments.  A state cannot be democratic; but, a government can
be.  A state cannot be democratic; but, a society can be.

A democratic republic that is founded upon voluntary association can have a draft if and when
there is a temporary emergency. In a voluntary association, when a person is drafted, they freely
and gladly submit to the will of the community from a sense of duty, but not necessarily from a
fear of punishment.  However, if and when there is an emergency, the individual citizen's voluntary
duty and debt to his or her community becomes an enforceable duty and debt to the community.
According to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, duty is "whatever the day calls for".

Democracy is the opposite of authoritarianism.  Democracy is identical with social-anarchism.

"The greedy, avaricious man who seeks gain is a fool, with a wrong sense of values."

Hey. I'm Julio, and I'm new to the blogosphere. I have just opened a blog on this site for the purpose of having discussions with other anarchists. I can see we both appreciate Errico Malatesta, or am I wrong?
