I had a conversation with my mother today. I won't relay the details, but let us simply say it was over college (and the thereafter).
What will come after college?
Is college necessary?
If so, necessary for what?
Do you need money? If so, then how much? What is required, and for what? For happiness?
All I need to be happy is to have enough to get by, with the occasional purchase for this person or that. Anything I buy for myself tends to fall under the category of music, books, technology (like repairing the computer or car), or sustenaince. In fact, mostly anything I spend goes to food. And I rarely eat out.
Does someone need college to sustain this? I think not. But happiness is supposed to lie within the family. Is this same lifestyle enough to give a family, to expect that family to be happy? If not, then why? I would be happy with this. With this, and with people in my life, I would have a bounty of wealth. I don't feel poor, though I surely must be.
If this is the case, then why struggle against exploitation from the higher levels?
