| Eco Friendly! Going Green! Eco Schools! |
ECO FRIENDLY!
Hey Everyone!!
Today I had this awesome meeting about Eco-friendly schools.
I know I have talked lots about it before, how to do stuff in your school to become more Eco-friendly. But now I am more educated thanks to the meeting I had, and I would like so share some key points with you that I think you should bring up to your school!
First of all Motivation is a big thing in schools (specifically high schools) I know how hard it is because I do go to high school. The teens are all like whatever. And if we question them about it they would say
"yeah. I care, just not enough to do anything about it"
So motivation is a huge thing.
GETTING PEOPLE MOTIVATED
-Give out prizes to those who participate in Eco-events.
-Over the announcements, do a trivia. or facts about Eco stuff.
-Go to the classes and have a personally give them a talk.
-Create a super green hero to go around the school commenting on people who did good Eco deeds. (seriously everyone will love it they find it totally funny!)
THINGS YOU CAN DO TO BE ECO-FRIENDLY
-Collect water bottles
-Have a green roof, so plant plants on the roof of the school.
-Green walls, so have plants all around the school.
-Create a garden for your school, so fruits and vegetables. ( you can put it any grassland open area, that is not being used!
-Make Eco shirts, buttons and bags.
-Give many presentations about going green.
-Have bake sales and raise money to buy Eco stuff for your school like Eco paper and plants.
-Plant trees around your school
-Go out and pick up garbage around your school.
-Make Eco posters to promote going green.
-Make Eco art.
-If you have a blank wall in your school get artists from your school and paint it with a message about going green so that way everyone will see it and think more about it.
Basically there is lots of things you can do to make your school ECO Friendly. Think about the future!
