Just got back from the picnic. It was really nice. We ended up just wrapping ourselves in blankets and eating the snacks outside the car.
It was all a bit rushed because Steve and Will had other places to go to give presents, so we set off some party poppers, had some mince pies, swapped pressies and had a quick walk along the beach after they'd left.
It was all a bit crazy, but the sandwiches and things seemed to go down really well.
Hopefully I'll see Steve and Angela again before next years picnic, and I hope it's one of those things we do every year until we die. I like traditions.
Didn't open the presents I got, so I'm quite excited to open them tomorrow.
Little bit disappointed that I'll only be seeing my boyfriend for about an hour tomorrow but he does have his own family to spend Christmas with, and even though mine are a bunch of misfits I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here with them all on Christmas.
