Did he want to kill me for the 21st time?
I make people beautiful.

I work for a small photography studio and I am their graphic designer and photo retouch artist.  I peer into other people's accomplishments: weddings, pregnancies, newborns, little ones, graduations and other beautifully composed, beautifully lit, beautifully taken shots.  My job is to take the digital photo in its raw form and polish it - mold it into a thing of beauty.  I show the love inside their friends and families and place it on the outside.  I remove society's judgmental flaws: wrinkles, moles, pox marks, scars, scabs, acne, discoloration - you name it.  I can even remove people who aren't supposed to be there (or wanted there).   I step into their lives and make them perfect.

I love my job.  In fact, I go to work to relax.

2 or 3 days ago:
My husband and I spoke frankly and openly about his condition, which happens to be a psychotic diagnosis.  It was under the condition that the session only last 1 hour and I was allowed to ask any questions I wanted answered.

I asked about his past and other small stuff, then I asked him if he loved me:  yes.  I asked, 'what is the worst thought you've ever had?' and he said, 'killing you.'  I asked, 'how often do you think about killing me?'  He said, "about 18 to 20 times in our relationship."

How does one comprehend that?

I don't want to seem like I'm over simplifying this....But, my guess would be that after your nice dinner, your little one in bed, and he was rubbing your feet and legs, he was planting the seeds and hoping to put you in the mood in order to have some "Mommy-Daddy-Sexy-Show-and-Touch-Time"...
:) I mean, I have to be honest, If I was trying to get my husband in the mood, and all of the sudden, all he wanted to do was take a shot gun to a zombie...I'd be a bit "What the fuck!?" too. you know what I mean? :)
He probably used the whole, angry, "I wanted to play a PC game" thing as a red herring for his bruised ego, and to vent off steam from what he perceives to be a lack of control or power in the situation.
Those are of course just theories :) I don't know you or him :)

PS - I haven't read any of your other posts, so this really is a totally blind comment :)
