Man I'm hoping this post will get you guys up and off your rocker but I want to tell you of one of my favorite holidays of the year coming up today. It's called Pornoween. Maybe you have heard of it across college campusus around the counrty. It when girls dress up in the sluttiest most awesome skin tight leather, spandex, lingerie etc. If you can think of something sexual or something to have on for an attire thats not conservative you will find it on pornoween.
Possibly if parents knew what was going on at college then there would be less of a judgemental slash on perverted egotistical college guys wanting to get a piece of ass from your daughter if you happened to take a gander on my space and facebook at the completley remarkable outfits that are displayed. I mean.. it might make the pope raise an eyebrow.
Now wait a minute! grab some water and take a blow on the bench.. I thought this author of the blog is a christian and look at the claims he is typing and the things he is saying.
Yes I am a christian and I know exactly what I'm saying. I just like the majority of Christian men struggle with these issues. But man what is a guy to do around this time. Sometimes as a current christian it is difficult to engage in current affairs and still be strong in your values. Some people choose to be abstent from such an event and others choose to still take part in it despite what there beliefs are.
I want to go back to one of my original points though... The public eye and certain bodys need to really wake up and smell the roses. Men will become grown men when they come to college. It will not matter what kind of peptalk you have them or what you tell them. College is insane and if you are not doing the norm (hooking up, drinking, clubbing, partying, etc.) you will be a major, and i repeat major minorrity and I hope you are ready to deal with it. PLeae prepare yourself for situations you are not use to and parents please educate your kids instead of lecture them... they will not listen so get over it.
This is society now.. it must be be realized. Sorrietys and Frats now that might be another blog for another night maybe when I'm drinking but this is a taste of how college life is. One big party and one big stage of life filled with sexual tension.. good and bad. Girls if you want us to stop starring at your ass then stop wearing thongs with pants so tight that every outline is visible. My fellow men do you really want to date and get drunk and hook up with someone who has been around the block multiple times??? It's a give in take society here in college. I hope people are aware of what goes on. This article isn't to tattle on the college life style because I would then be a hypocrit. The purpose of this is to vent and to wonder how god has a part in college life.. I wonder and will always wonder..
p.s obviously I'm not talking about private baptist colleges or all girls school etc. So this is aimed at the majority of readers but to be fair not 100% of you guys.

I think you are the kind of guy holding a bible while sweating under the white collar:P That or--based on how you said it's a favorite holiday--you could be a good faker posing as a priest.
You are fresh into college and finding yourself tempted away from the priesthood by women in black. As an awareness piece, this may be a fair start. As for what does God have in on this regarding the appeal of women who may choose to dress "slutty"...I would refer you to Genesis:P The part about the first man and woman and the snake. It's simply temptation. And, in this crazy mixed-up world where one cannot clearly decide between a life of materialism and technology, becoming sexual animals and living moral lives according to one's own disciplined religion...I would probably explode if confronted with a costume party like the one at the local college where everyone dressed up and hung out in the streets outside campus(and cops were on guard everywhere)and found girls dressed up as if it was Mardi Gras and ready to flash their boobs.
I have faced my own severe separation from "society" by sticking to my beliefs and not partaking in what the rest of my class considered common. But, I guess that is the riddle of life and that tree of wisdom. We each choose a path...some of us leaders, more of us followers/lemmings/simon-says people...and who is to say which is the right path? I simply don't want to suffer from my choice or end up in another bad habit.
Think about it.
