I have noticed a lot of things in my walk with Christ. I have watched people, mocked people, ridiculed people and changed people. I have been through a lot of things in my walk with Christ. I can't physically show all the trials and struggles, valleys and mountains that I have hurtled to get where I am in my walk with Christ, BUT I can promise one thing... I am genuine. Are you?
I have watched so many people pretend to know of and have the love of Christ and yet they turn to the world and spit in there face...how is that Christ-like? How is that loving your enemy? 1 Corinthians 13 talks about true love and most people associate that with romantic love but it is the Christ-like love that all Christains should show to everyone including their enimies, yet the Christian community has yet to fully show that! Most people would say well I can't love everyone. No you can't have a romantic affiliation in which we associate love with, with everyone but you can have a true love, a Christ-like love that will cover over all wrongs (Proverbs 10:12) that will pertain to everyone, yes even your enimies.
Aren't you sick yet? Sick of seeing babies murdered, sick of war and violence, sick of political agendas that speak out against the majority for the minority has become stronger, sick of people stepping on the very thing that is to be our life for all eternity, CHRIST! Aren't you done with the racism and predicies that the world holds at a standard while they turn around pointing the finger at everyone else blaming everyone else? Wake-up! Smell the coffee! The pot is running over and it is your job to clean the mess!
Aren't you tired? Aren't you tired of your reputation being trampled by the few that pretend to be what you are genuine of?! I am! I am a Christian, I scream it from the mountain tops and we, the Christian community, need to get off our lazy bottoms and step into this world and actually become what we say we are. Some people would lable me a radical, a dreamer but I am declairing today the day that I promise not to be something that I am not! Today is the day that I am no longer ashamed of who I am and what I believe, today is the day I scream to the world who I truely am...are you with me? What are you waiting for? Why are you hesitant to tell the world? What is it that holds you in your seat? DO you come to church simply to hold a status with people? SO you can have a title? So you can warm a chair for an hour or so and feel as if you have done your spiritual duty while you go to the world for what you call "freedom?" True freedom, is not having to look over your shoulder to see if someone is watching, true freedom is doing what is right, true freedom comes only from one place and that is the One and Only Jesus Christ! I am tired of having people who proclaim to be Christians scream at me for being to modest or for being to conservative. I am what I am because I have freedom, freedom in Chirst and I make no apologies for that! Do you share my freedom? Or are you locked in a prison filled with the poison of sin. Are you locked in a cell with a poisionest serpent who wants to fill your veins with venum just to watch you squirm? Do you know who puts you in that position? It is Satan and I am declairing today that Satan has no room or ground in my life, the churches life or any Christians life and I bind him away from whom ever has Chrsit for where the Holy Spirit dwells Satan and his dominons CAN NOT!
I am tired of watching people walk away from Christ simply because it isn't convient for them or because they cannot understand every little detail about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. If we were meant to understand it all don't you think God would have reavealed it to us the day we were born? He guides us and leads us through life, but most of the time we don't listen. He gave us His finger prints in nature, His face in people and His wisdom in the Bible yet we manage to figure out a way to disbelieve. If it were anything else the evidence would be over whelming but since it partains to Christ it isn't? That doesn't make sense!
I am fed up with the lack-a-daisy mantality that Christians posses today and we, the Christian church, need to get out into the world and do what we were told to do by Jesus in Matthew 28! We are to go out into the world, making disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, when, when, when, will we do this? When will we stop preaching and start living our Christianity? I tell you that is the day you will see the revival of the church! When will we face the world with confidence knowing that we are doing the right thing... when will we start saving people from the eternal death that life is without Jesus? When will we be obediant and faithful to the One who has always been faithful to us? When does that start? Let it be today! Let it start now!
Start with how you appeaer to others. If anything you do (from speaking, actions, rebellions, dressing, habits, activities, etc.) is something that you wouldn't do if Christ was standing next to you, then change it. Then move to the inner being and renew your mind, heart and soul. Read the Wisdom given to you, grow and live in Christ and have true freedom! Have eternal freedom! The only way to do this is to have Christ. He is the truth, the life and the way and it is only through Him that you can have eternal life.
If you are reading this and you know that you need to have this in your life, if you are sick of the way the world is, if you are tired of being complacant in a world that wants nothing more then to cause you harm, accept Jesus into your heart ask Him to forgive you, give you peace and the strength to start living a life He would be proud of. Don't wait, don't let Satan decieve you anymore, don't look around to see if anyone is looking, GET UP RIGHT NOW AND DO WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED TO DO! Do it publically, for a closet Christian is not waht Christ had in mind when He looked at you. In the Bible the people who had contact with Jesus couldn't wait to tell the world about His miracles... what are you waiting for... there is a whole world that needs to understand His grace, love, peace and eternal life with Him just like you do. Don't wait just do what Christ has told you to do, don't be complacient, be radical, be different, be loving, forgiving, and humble, be a Christian.
