 It's Just Me

Hello, it's just me

I am just sitting here waiting to hear from my ex.  It appears he decided not to send my spousal support for this week.  Monday is his birthday and he seems to have decided to use my pitiful $100 a week to celebrate.  I expected it though, he has been late or tried not sending it all so many times in the past year and a half, I am no longer suprised when he doesn't send it.

I was married 37 years when in November 2007, my then-hubby [Syd Rackley], said he wanted to spend Thanksgiving with his sister in Nevada.  Except for his mother's funeral, he had not seen her in years.  He was going to be gone two weeks, his yearly vacation.  He didn't say bye to anyone, including our daughter who was sitting on the porch when he went out to catch his ride to the airport.

When he left I had $13 bucks, one bag of pinto beans, and no insulin.

He didn't bother to answer emails or phone calls to his sister's house, including the messages telling him that our daughter had totaled our van.  Never bothered to ask how badly she was hurt or anything.

Didn't call at yule to speak to any of his children or grandchildren.  Then in January I get a message in my email box at pogo.com, saying I want a divorce.  Lots of consideration after 37 years huh?

I hope you fight him for every cent he owes you. The truth is that although you were married so long, it seems you were married to an a** . And personally I bet you are better off.

I don't have much chance to fight him. I have several problems that keep me from being able to work, have no insurance, etc. So I had to move in with my daughter. When he sent divorce papers from Nevada, one of the terms was that I waived spousal support. Well I said that was unacceptable. New papers stated $100 a week. So I signed those, notarised and all. But some way he managed to switch the signed and notarised page to the original papers and the final decree was that I waived spousal support. Haven't found a way yet to get him for the fraud. He does send the $100 but not on a regular basis.

And yep he did turn out to be quite an a**. I lost track of the number of affairs he had over the years.
