 Chapter 3 - Bubbly
I was washing clothes at the laundromat. I noticed a man drinking a beer, relaxing and waiting for his clothes to dry. I took my clothes to a dryer and he said hi to me. We had a nice chat about his home state of Delaware and his hopes to use his PhD in Ocean Engineering to help with restoring natural beauty to the beach near his home town.

I spoke about my dreams and aspirations, finished folding my clothes and said "it was nice chatting with you". As I walked to my car, I thought "please run out after me and ask me for my number or I will never see you again".

He did. He asked me to lunch. He said he loved talking with me and wanted to know more. We have been going on dates, laughing with eachother, exploring the interesting aspects that make us who we are.

He is a funny boy. He likes me. But I'm scared. I don't want to fall into an emotional state of liking him because I don't want to get hurt. I do not want to hurt him either. I want to savor every smile, every tear of laughter, every chat over coffee, every random moment.

I call this chapter in my life - bubbly because I smile. I like the way it feels... it makes me crinkle my nose. This chapter is like the song Bubbly by Colbie Callait - click here

hi pris!
i like that 'bubbly' song too - it's *cute*
you can't be too afraid of getting into it, because you've already got into. why worry after you've set the wheels in motion? for example: you don't worry about being hit by a truck when you've already run across the avenue.
so what are you really doing?
:o)
cheers!

Hi. That is a good question. What am I really doing? I suppose I have already taken that leap and run across the avenue. I wasn’t afraid of being hit by romance when I said yes to his date proposal. I should not worry. I should “take the ride for what it’s worth” and whatever happens… happens.
Thanks!

haha!
that was easy - any other really difficult problems you need help with? :o)
but if it only took you to read my little comment, then either the problem or the solution didn't exist... ;o)
cheers!

Haha!
Maybe it took your comment to help me realize that nothing is broken.
New experiences are funny because you have to live through them until you face the problem... I'm just afraid to face it if and when it comes.
Does that make sense? Oh well... que sera, sera.
