I called a lawyer today to find out about my exs and my joint billls. For the most part he can file bankruptcy and leave me with all the bills including the money we owe on the house. I am so mad at him right now I am spitting fire. I am so mad because he is the one that wanted the divorce and I am the one getting stuck with the bills.It is inferiating that he gets off with just paying child support. In the divorce papers it states that we pay half of the joint bills unless we can file for bankrutcy. Right now I am mad at my lawyer as well. If anyone can help me on this please give me a shout out.
