I have a lot going through my head today which is unrelated to my weekend.  So this weekend went really well.  On Friday, I went out with Brian and his friends to my favorite Italian Steakhouse.  It's been open since the late 1940's and it has a very Chicago feel.  It's rumored to be owned by the mafia and the owner is very Italian so it seems believable.  The food was delicious and after 2 drinks, I was tipsy.  We then went for walk on the longest continous sidewalk in the US.  The houses across the street are beautiful and there is an awesome view of the bay.  The five us walked and talked until after midnight.   I really like Brian's friends.  They are the only friends I have that are cuban.  My family is all born in cuba, in case I have never shared that part.  I am the first generation born here and the second one on either side of my mom's or dad's family to go to college.

Saturday, I went to a MAC makeup class.  My friend Nora signed us up and since I don't wear much makeup, I figured it could not hurt.  I think it came out well.  After some shopping we headed over for a Girl's Night at my friend Lily's.  She has a condo on the water with an awesome view!  I drank lots of wine and we told stories.  I laughed a lot.  One of my friends has a beachfront house and asked if I would house sit next month.  Yippee.  I love staying at the beach and have 2 beach trips planned for this summer.  I had left my house at 1pm and before I knew it, it was 10:30.  When I checked my phone, Brian had called to go to a late dinner.  He came and got me about an hour later. 

Sunday, I had to go to Nora's to collect my things.  Brian suggested we go to an Art festival in Tarpon Springs.  I was totally shocked because he never comes up with going to something like this.  I use to take black and white photography and even developed them in a school dark room.  I also use to paint when I was just out of college.  Mostly scenery because it relaxed me.  I tried it once a few years ago and I got frustrated because it did not look as good as my old ones.  Anyway, so I love art and I had a wonderful time.  On the way home, I was kind of quiet and moody, about a mile or less from my house he asked me if he could make dinner for us and gave me two choices of things he could make.  He did and then he even made me dessert.  He doesn't eat dessert.

As you can tell Brian is being really wonderful.  I think when I'm quiet he assumes the worst and tries harder.  I don't get it.
