 New Toy

This weekend there was one thing I bought that caused me great happiness.  I know this sounds silly but for the past 2 years I have wanted an AeroGarden and I finally bought myself one.  (Click the link and it will take you to the official site).  I even went to the hydroponics store and bought the tomatos and peppers kit.  I cannot believe how excited I am about this silly thing.  I bought it Saturday morning and I set it up after my Mumu's and Martini's night with the girls, I got in after 1 am.  So I've checked it twice in the last 36 hours and I still have no seedlings, apparently they will be there in 48-72 hours.  I know how silly this must sound.

Oh and for any of you that are wondering what our party was about.  We did this for our girl's night out group and the organizer came up with a role for everyone.  It was titled - "Mrs. Roper's Revenge" like in Three's company.  she turned it into a murder mystery and we had to figure out who had slept with Stanley.  I was the only one not in a mumu but in PJ's, I just can't do a mumu.  I tried, I went to the store but I could not buy one, I wore cute PJ's instead.  As we arrived, everyone was given a sheet of paper with information on their character and questions they could answer and how.  It was neat.  One girl figured it out.  Afterwards, I hung out at a friend's house before going home to setup my new Aero Garden.

Amusingly enough, the organizer and I are friends and she just bought one too.  She was amused that I bought one and so now I'll have someoe to compare stories with.

I just added a picture form our mumu night.

Did YOU sleep with Mr. Roper, Prelude?
That sounds like so much fun! (the party, not sleeping with Mr. Roper!! Although he is better looking than Mr. Furley!)

Nope Meredith, I did not sleep with Mr Roper amuzingly enough but I was the community slut because I did not wear a mumu. My cute pj's made me too sexy to be anything else. I loved it and even did a southern accent. :)

I should clarify that the cute pj's were just a pink top with blue cropped pj pants that had little pink hearts all over.

Checked out the Aero Garden and it looks interesting. I don't think it's silly at all. There is nothing more rewarding than watching something grow. Years ago I grew Marigolds from seed. The tiny little seedlings were like my children and I loved tending to them. It's a miracle how a little seed can become something so beautiful. Good luck and keep us posted how your garden is doing. Peace.

Planting and tending flowers and vegetables are a wonderful way to relax! I think that's a great idea! Must look into that. Also, your "who slept with Mr. Roper" party sounded like fun! I've done murder dinners and loved them, too. Your girlfriends sound like so much fun! Enjoy the bounty of your harvest, prelude. XXX

I understand totally how you feel about your garden. There is something so rewarding seeing something you planted growing. It's a bit like you at the moment - growing and flowering with careful nurturing. God bless
