What do you get out of real fellowship?
I've been doing some digging, and here are some benefits the Bible says we can receive from real fellowship.

• Receive increased blessings
• Provide encouragement
• Provide admonishment and reproof
• Grow our own patience
• Provide for material needs
• Witness to others through our service to one another, our integrity, our honesty, our concern, and our love for one another

Can you think of any others? What do you get out of the time you spend with other Christians?

Another way of putting this for me is community. Real fellowship is the opportunity to be worshiping and talking and walking in community with other believers. It is the opportunity to be fellowshipping with the Lord and also for me- fellowshipping with others and deepening my relationship. Hmmm....good additional thought, are their significant differences between how an extrovert and an introvert fellowship? I'm an extrovert, and for me, being in a large group of believers, singing my heart out really ministers to me, it fills me up....but then so does that quiet time early in the morning with just me and God.

Writer Gal,

An interesting thought about introverts and extroverts, and fellowship versus time with God. My guess is that, all things being equal, introverts spend more time communing with God than with people, and with extroverts it’s the opposite. Which doesn’t make either approach better or worse, just different.

I know as an introvert, I prefer fellowship/community either in small groups, or large groups where I can engage in long conversations with people. I would rather talk to five people for 20 minutes instead of 20 people for five minutes. But, that’s just me.
