| Mothers's cry for her babies future.

|
Can we fix what we are destroying.
For my baby to grow
Can we save the animals that are almost gone.
For my baby to see what we once saw.
Are we destroying this earth so.
The only evidence of any life will be from a picture that has almost faded.
That will be the only thing my baby see's is a faded photo.
Of once that was.
Will chemical smells be the only thing in the air.
When my baby is grown.
The green grass and flowers.
Will only be a picture on a wall.
The scent only to be imagined.
In the abstract cause that's all they'll remember of it.
Cause they cant remember any more.
The beauty that we once saw.
Will our bad habits that at one time we could change.
Turn into bare lands for my baby
Or are we seeing what we have done already.
Don't have the courage to admit or change.
Are we that blind that this is only words now.
If we do not change our kids will be reading this wondering
Why we did not change.
Tears in there eyes wishing we had.
Will that be the future for my child
Will that be the future for yours.
