If you think you can't fail you probably will.  Pride goes before the fall.  You can be a risk taker, do crazy things, make big mistakes, but humility can save you.  If you think you are bigger than life, you may well have a short one.  You can have pride, it's OK.  In many ways it is an emotion of betterment & growth, but it must be tempered with humility, and an awareness of the specific risk of your actions.  Humility is a glowing trait when juxtaposed with pride.  Do good, be proud, when acknowledged be humble.  The humility that comes with knowing there is someone, some God, some spirit greater than yourself, will allow you to be prepared when danger prevails, and you will live for another day.  Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.  Proverbs 11:2.
