 This is Life
Poetry is my therapy, it’s not my remedy
For all of life’s ills I’ve just got my head and me
Hell feels like my life but heaven’s where I’m heading see
I make haste and lay waste to the lead and the dead in me
This burden feels so heavy but the rewards are set to levy me
Strife should really bury me but my faith it just leavens me
Telling me to hold out even though my hope has sold out
My soldier nature rolls out summoning all propensity
Cranking up the intensity driving me to fight for what’s meant to be
This is Life
I’m not picking from some cherry tree a theory just to practice
So when disaster just unwraps its
Plan I counteract its
Desire to penetrate, denigrate, blow the mind out the settled state
I’m in the moment, the situation
This is racing integration
Integrating with the race of life there’s no time for ideal migration
The inner hater can slay a man
You got to be a player man
Life changes its rules so quick you can’t afford to die on the conveyor
Or live without a prayer man
You can’t talk Nike Air man
You’ve got to walk with care fam
This is Life
Second chances are rare man
This
Is
Life
