teenager

for mom and dad

before I met you

I was not a sour grape

pushed under them thumb

my juices were not distasteful

to spoiled king's tounge

I did not watch vein siblings misplace me

or stuff towels under my doors

to escape the smokey toxins you set free

I was born in the sun with a smile on my face

so where ever I came from, I know it was a good place

I hope your relationship with your parents turns out for the better. Very nice poem.
