Just a quick note to let you kids know that I haven't forgotten about you all. I'm back to six days a week at work, and also they have extended hours of operation. Tons of road construction going on, which has increased my commute time an additional 2 hours a day. Doesn't leave me much free time. I usually come home and pass out after dinner. Good grief its going to be a long pool season. Hopefully, we'll make lots of money and keep the business afloat. Keeping fingers and toes crossed on that one. I have spent way too much time coming up with ideas to increase revenue. I see numbers in my sleep. Lastnight the number four was chasing me and came close to poking my eyes out....story for another day.
I completed and passed my C.P.O. (certified pool operator) certification on Sunday. Which means I apparantly am supposed to know, more than I do. My passing made the owners happy, means they didn't throw away $350.00 for me to be certified.
They allowed me to hire AW (amazon woman) so far so good. We have busted our humps the past two days. The store is finally looking like a pool store should. I have faith it's going to work out great. This gal is not afraid of hard work or getting dirty. And with her there I finally have good help....someone that works as hard as I do. I'll try to get some pictures taken to post so, you kids have an idea of what the hell I'm babbling about.
This went on longer than I intended. Time for me to finish getting ready for another day of work.
