Kitchen blunder
I decide I'm going to make over fried chicken.Get the ingredients together,ah theres the self rising flour, good I thought it was all used up.I take the chicken out of the buttermilk its been soaking in.Shake it up in the bag thats full of flour and spices.Take it out put it on the rack.Whats this?Since when does flour absorb like this?Ok,shake a shake some more. You have got to be kidding me,where did the flour go?Weird, just weird maybe its just a blond moment.

Into the pan it goes, put in oven, wait.Chickens done yay!Hey! why is it so dark, and wheres the coating?Im still perplexed at this point. Why is the grease almost black, weird. My God why is this so hard to cut, cant hardly saw through the skin. Then the first bite.Man,this is sweet.Sweet?Since when is fried chicken sweet?Well, turns out that wasnt the self rising flour,it was powdered sugar.I had made powdered sugar oven fried chicken.I dont recomend it,its terrible. You get a crunck factor but its more like a meat m&m.

Note to self:Get a lable maker doofus

I could use one too! This reminds me of my first time on Christmas Dinner Detail, when I mistook baking soda for cornstarch and created a HUGE pan full of turkey-flavoured foam! Needless to say, I'm not famous for my gravy skills!

Damn, I thought I was the only one dangerous in the kitchen. I am proud to say I have set a fire in each & every kitchen I have ever been in. But this is a first. That's so cute.

it remeinds me of when I made frosting the first time....i didn't know what they meant by "confectioner's sugar"
...i thought...sugar is sugar - right?

Everyone really enjoyed my chocolate flavoured sand cake! :P LOL! mmmmmm...some gritty gritty goodness... ;P
