Good grief its late and past my bedtime. Funny as a kid I was afraid I would miss out on something if I slept, now theres never enough time for sleep. I digress.
Tim headed out to Pittsburgh today a sort of mini vacation spent with his two childhood friends. Pittsburgh you say? It's where they grew up and since both guys were married last year they have to keep finances under control for their yearly get together. I suppose it will be five days of drinking, picking on one another and driving Brians wife crazy. Thank God its her turn this year. Last summer the city of Boston got them and I had them the year before that. I wish Kelly well, actually they are good guys. I hope they have a great time and that Tim doesn't toss his cookies too much this go around. I suppose when Tim rolls in on Sunday he'll smell of beer and farts. As long as he has a good time thats all that counts.
I was hoping to get a day off while he's away, wasn't in the cards. I work straight through till next thursday and was given a three day weekend. I couldn't believe my good fortune. Our niece turned one on June 19th and her parents are having a big shindig on July 5th. I'm just thrilled that we will get to spend it with her. I'm not so thrilled that I'll have to play nice with her neurotic Mother, we all have our crosses to bear. I suppose shes mine. I promise to play nice with others and take her "Sybil" disposition in stride. I really do want to honestly like this woman, she just makes it so hard. She's always mad and finding fault with others. As I said I will behave and treat her with kindness even if she gets me seething mad. Enough bitching Sandy, good grief.
Amazon woman invited me to dinner at her house tonight.She cooked out on the grill, is she ever a grill master. Was a nice evening she had two of her girlfriends up with their kids. I brought the kids water balloons, they had fun bombing eachother. Since my kids are grown its not often I get to see children playing. It brought me back to when my own kids were small. Good grief do they grow up quick, as do we.
I do hope you are all well and happy. If your having a bad day, may it get better. If your days going great, share the love. And try to refrain from giving other drivers the one finger salute.

*deep breath* I love your posts, you know I look forward to them and you never disappoint. Hope Tim has a good time and he'll come back "smelling like beer and farts." lol!
Doesn't it suck when you want to like someone but they make it impossible for you...i know the feeling...
waterballoons!! I gotta go get me some for the kids...:)

LOL Brainstrormer:)It was fun watching the kids bomb each other. One thing I love about summer is cook outs, good food and friends what else could a person want other than a winning lotto ticket.

Hey kid:)Thank you :) If I know Tim he'll have an awesome time and come home stinking like beer and farts. I have my close pins ready.
I try very hard with her Luc. She's very controlling and sometimes just down right mean. At times shes very disrespectful to Tims Mom, that doesn't sit well with me at all. I'm remaining faithful that we will have a wonderful time together :)
You need water balloons, you can bomb the kids!
