LOL too cute. I don't know if other parents experienced this. My daughter was a breeze to potty train, my son was the complete opposite. I'm not sure if thats the norm, just my experience.
When I read "balls" in your title it reminded me of my son. He was maybe 3 years old and was in the bath tub. He discovered his own set if you know what I mean. And said "Mommy! Theres eggs in here"! Out of the mouths of babes:)

OMG lastbast both of my parents were like that. Sunday mornings were the worst. They would both take portions of the paper and each take a bathroom and sit on the thrown for all eternity. They each had their own ass grooves on the seats.

KP I feel your pain. When I was in grade school we were always given class time to complete our assignments. When there was homework it was for special projects.
My children are now grown. When they were in grade school they had homework on a nightly basis.
Kids need time to unwind. They spend all day in school. I remember the tears I had to face. Was very frustrating for me and my children.

I have a friend that has a pseudo tumor on her left optic nerve. She just went through this, spinal tap to relieve the pressure, morphine,demerol,percocet and other pain meds. Yesterday made two straight weeks of headache pain. I wish you well kiddo :)

You can't just toss your heartache out the window, you're still hurt. You need to talk to him about it. You deserve answers, he has to allow you time to heal. Kiddo if he can't do that hes not worth your time.
Everyone deserves being treated with respect and dignity. Relationships should always be based on honesty, if its not, then its no relationship.

Will do:) I know that hes lonely, he still has a good cry daily. he just misses her so. His wife had been diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years previously, refused treatment and kept this from him. He was crushed when he found out, as we all do when we are mourning he keeps saying he should of known. We all know that was impossible for him to know, hes still going through the stages.

It is sad when it becomes final. But, you move on, just as you have this past year.
What I did was make a copy of our wedding license, and burned it after the divorce was final. Was a bit much considering we had 20 years under our belts.
What I can tell you now, is that I'm glad its over. I did get two wonderful children out of my marriage, that have become terrific adults.

The advice of our elders, thank God for them. You're Grandmother such an awesome woman.
She kept mum, and let you do what you needed to do, and didn't stand in your way. Such a commendable woman. Great advice from your Granny.
About coming through to the other side, I believe it happens in cycles. All the joys and trials we go through prepare us for the next wave. Life in itself is awesome, sometimes we do have to wade through a few mud puddles. They eventually dry up and we forge straight ahead. Onto our next phase of living and loving.

Good grief K, The fact that he only spends 8 to 8.5 hours a week with the children is so sad.
Makes me feel terrible for the children and for you. As they grow up they will most likely distance themselves from him. He has only himself to blame.

I'm such a terrible dancer, I have no coordination. I do however play guitar, that I can do:)If I knew how to take the video off of my phone and download it onto the computer, you would see my dancing. Good grief its bad,lol.

i really do believe she is just about at rock bottom. What I blogged about is just the very tip of the ice berg.
I don't feel you were being pessimistic, just honest. Toad that pie was so awful. It was as bad as my over fried powdered sugar chicken. That one was a big mess.

Is it possible that your Mom might be approved for home care? I'm not sure what her financial situation is. I know in Washington state we had Catholic community services that provided home health care for free for those on a fixed income. Social security or disability. Maybe your area has something like that?
You do need to think about yourself too Kiddo. Have you talked to your Mother about what you would like to do?

Good grief I totally understand. Just the fact that those girls did that makes me want to throttle them. Any recourse of going to the girls parents?
The same thing had happened to a neighbor of mine when my kids were small. Her daughter purposely broke a classmates eye glasses, she had to pay for a new pair.
On possibly changing her school, thats a tough one. Especially since she has friends and is happy there.
I really don't know what is the matter with some parents. I know when my kids were small, some of the parents I met, needed a "big clue", or a swift kick. Just reliving some of those old memories ticks me off.

Easy you're Mom/Mum sounds like a hoot! I am sorry she had to go through that. It's never a good feeling when the hospital is playing the "waiting" game. I'm so glad she was transferred to another hospital better equipped to help her.

LOL overthehillandfaraway! This bathroom is the definition of gross. Not that its moldy or germ ridden. I happen to like the color pink, just not in bathroom fixtures.
Sorry about the food descriptions. We just finished off the last of the seafood scampi for dinner last night. Was way too much food for one serving. I will try to keep things like dessert private from now on,lol.
Thats right with the Adkins diet its all protein and veggies, no sugar if I remember right. I hope it is going well for you:)

The bathroom is terrible. It's just so dated, I suppose at one time pink fixtures might have been the bomb. Now, it just looks like a bomb went off in there.

If you need help with your pool just ask. I swear having a pool is like having children and pets. Just make sure to keep your water balanced, your filter clean and run your pump at least 8-10 hours a day. Good grief girl you have a lot of chores don't you? Seriously, if you have any pool questions I'm happy to help.
