I think your Aero garden is cool. I'd be excited as well, seeing the first seedlings pop up:) So sad about your friend Jen, it takes time to heal. Good luck on the job search:) The closest I can say I lived to the country, is when I lived in Washington state. Right off of Puget Sound, very peaceful and quiet. I miss watching the otters play in the inlet, the occasional seal that came onto our beach. And the humming birds, never have I seen as many as I did there.

I don't know kiddo. Part of me wants to say run away from his as fast as you can, the other part worries about what this does to your kids. Maybe he's conflicted, I really don't know. He does however have a girlfriend and he's married to you. Sounds as if he has all of the control. You need to gain the control, and toughen up. This is your life too after all.

The one thing that got me about feminism, was the hairy armpits. Not my cup of tea. You know I think plastic surgeons can thank some feminists. With all their bra burning it created a need. I got glasses at an early age as well. I was so happy to see, the kids were pretty mild. They tired over the four eyes comments after a few days,then that was it. My best to your little Kaylie:) In Philly on south street they have a store called the condom kingdom. They have these wind up wieners that walk around, they're are pretty funny. Have fun planning the party! Poop on the "finger" waving lady in the parking lot. I wish her the trots and flat tires for a month of sundays:)

Blue, I read this in one of my high school english books, it's stayed in my mind since. Forgiveness is a funny thing it warms the heart and cools the sting. People do crappy things to us on a daily basis, whether another car cuts you off, or someone tries to cut inline at the store, sometimes people say nasty things to us just cause they are having a bad day. Maybe Scott was just a big chicken, maybe he's was afraid of giving you his whole self,or anyone for that matter. Please don't let what happened keep eating away at you. Good grief Toad I know what you mean about twitching, my upper lip starts to twitch when I get upset. At the hospital on Sunday, her boyfriends Mother and one of his sisters was there. They started playing him up, I got so mad,my upper lip took on a life of it's own. I had to cover my mouth before it twitched off. The hospital discharged her yesterday, now the fun begins. Her not having health insurance will mean more trips to the ER, Dr's offices won't see her unless she has the money to pay, which she doesn't. An endless rollercoaster this will be.

They did, unfortunately it's not helping. It seems that pressure from the tumor is just to great. She's on day 6 I talked to her this morning. Her head is still pounding,she was still waiting for the nurse to give her the pain med. The nurse was already 45 minutes late.

Thank you overthehillandfaraway :) Amazon woman had a follow up with her Dr. yesterday,he found a spot on her catscan that the emergency room had missed. She still has tremendous pain in her head. he gave her a shot of vistiril and demerol,told her to keep the stress away,her blood pressure is like a yoyo right now, most likely due to her pain.He put her on morphine sustained release pills, they aren't working. he wants her to stay home, due to her financial situation I'm afraid she'll try to go to work today. Take care,hope you have a great weekend as well :)

Your on the right track, looking for a second job,wanting a place of your own. Change is always tough in the beginning. Your also trying to change a lifetime(marriage) of learned behaviors. One step at a time. You had the courage to leave,your in a safe environment now, Counseling with the spouse. Learning to take care of yourself. Good grief, I'm no match maker. You came to mind yesterday while I was sitting in the emergency room with my friend. One of the attending physicians was drop dead gorgeous. I thought my libido was about to be jump started, nah..it died like the calm before the storm. Anyhoo, hes tall, slender,dark hair and eyes. I'm telling you he seems to have it all. Charming and a great sense of humor. I'm sitting there thinking I wonder if hes a good one for Blue? So Miss if you find yourself coming to Pennsylvania let me know we'll take a trip to Abbington hospital so you can get a look for yourself. I can't believe I did this (I must be getting old) I asked if he was married. He's single!

Small town in Washington where I lived. I got into it with one of the post office guys. I needed to send a certified letter, he was such a jerk. I told him sorry I didn't take post office 101...this town was so backwards at times we named it Hooterville. You were thinking boobs weren't you? lol..Come to think of it they were a bunch of boobs!

Faith I had never seen one until I had moved to Washington. I grew up in Phoenix, too hot for slugs there. I did however step on a night crawler bare footed, I was so grossed out I almost tossed my cookies.

I think they should. My Oma Ellen (my moms mom) would write letters to manufacturers if she liked a particular soap etc...She wrote Mercedes telling them how much she liked their cars and thats all she had ever drove...Mercedes sent her a pin with the Mercedes logo on it. My Mom said Oma was so mad...she was expecting a car, not a pin,lol.

We had used Tims Moms GPS thingy. As long as you have a co pilot works fine,solo you're screwed. When I had first moved to Hooterville I had taken my daughter to a birthday party and got lost on the way home. I ended up on Hood Canal,still today one of my favorite places. Luckily I made it back to the party by the time it was over:)Even though I was petrified at first, I got over it and enjoyed my surroundings.

I wish I had the answer to that Easy. Maybe they convince themselves that "they" and "they only" have the right to happiness? Marriage is work,and sure it can get mundane...but you work on it. I suppose it makes more sense to the "theys" to go out and find "someone" to be "happy" with. Good grief its been 8 years and I still pray his talleywacker falls off. It might save his current marriage.

I have been there myself. Though my kids were teenagers. I made so many excuses for their Dad, deep down they knew the truth. He wasn't involved in their lives when we were a "family" of four. Thats the sad part,he never really was a part of the family.

It's sad, and some even boast about it. It ruins families,causes in some cases our children to be damaged. All for the sake of "happiness". Assumed happiness is what I call it. Though I am glad my days married to a cheater are over, I still have problems with it. The aftermath will always be fresh in my memory.

Easy, My other halves Mom got a GPS thingy for Christmas. We used it, I can help as a co pilot and listen and watch the GPS. All alone with a GPS, I'm sure I would get into an accident. Watching the screen instead of the road. Wouldn't it be great to have an extra pair of eyes on the side of our heads? Thank you Easy :)

I found that even though the other adult made some valid points, that 9 times out of 10 it was the Mom that had the issue. I understand your frustration,I've been there myself. I'd rather stick a needle in my eye then deal with a disgruntled Mom.

Hopefully for all involved Broadzilla went easy on her. As you stated sometimes your daughter cant control her outbursts. Tough position for you to be in, to smooth things over and feeling helpless where their Mother is concerned. I keep hoping Broadzilla will have a change of heart and allow you more time with your daughters, it would be so beneficial for all of you..especially the girls. I wish you the best. I know it doesn't solve your problem, I just keep hoping for the best:)

Hey Luci..It wasn't bad for my first one, they improved after that..a lot of trial and error. In the northwest they get Banana slugs, they get pretty big. At Northwest Trek they hold Banana slug races every year, its in Yelm Washington. I saw a baby Bison born there. I'm with you on the bugs. Little bugs don't bother me, though the big ones give me the creeps.

Easy it does get better...its just like any other painful thing that one experiences in life. Sometimes they rear their ugly head. I'm glad that its over and I don't have to endure that bad relationship anymore. He was in my life for more than half of it...makes it hard to close the book at times.

It's when we have time to ourselves it hits..and at times hits hard. K its been 8 years for myself, and sometimes it pops into my mind and it hurts. I can now refer to the break up as "it". What makes me feel better is that I have moved on, made a new life for myself. It's not alway rosy, such as life. I do know that I have become more relaxed and more myself...unfortunately these things take time.(I got tired of hearing that phrase as well) And kiddo cry when you need to cry...you've been through so much...you've had to be strong in this adversity. I screamed into my pillows and broke a ton of coffee cups..to release my frustration. Worked for me :)

Sorry to hear of the loss of your family friend Gene. A great tragedy that day. So much loss of life,very pain full. I was in Arizona. Up having my coffee turned on the tv, couldn't believe my eyes. I have an Albanian friend that lives in the city. I tried to call,I couldn't get through. Finally heard from him 3 days later,though in shock he and his wife were ok...big relief for me...though I know it wasn't for so many others. My better half was already in Pa called to give me updates. Was a surreal day. I worked for a credit card company at the time...for weeks later I would get calls from card members that lived in the city needing to talk about what they had seen. One woman in particular stands out, she was there when the towers crumbled...she told me of the carnage...she hadn't left her home since making it back that day,terrified to leave her building. My heart still goes out to her. I hope she is well:)
