Living In the Desert in CA
After living in San Diego for a little more than two months, I have decided to continue my journey by living on an organic farm in the desert, outside El Centro.  It's completely away from the outside world, basically the middle of no where.  From what I was tol, much of the film "Into the Wild" was shot there.  I haven't seen the movie yet, but I heard it was pretty wild..lol.  The farm grows olives, pomegranates, figs, and carobs.  I will be helping out on the farm for a few hours every day, and the rest of the day is up to me.  That means a lot of hiking and self-discovery. I'm really excited and a little nervous, kind of how I was feeling before I left the east coast, but I know this is something that will be good for me and it will give me plenty of time to be alone with God and really hear what hes telling me.  The man who owns the farm is named Gordon and he has a cat named peaches, who I will be looking after on the days that he's not there.  I'm leaving in two days, so I will have internet access there, and I will be making posts and putting video blogs up.
