Potty Mouth & Freedom of Speech
I'm appalled! I read in the paper about a woman who in HER OWN HOME said some profane words and was taken to court. Apparently an off duty officer over heard the remark through the "potty mouth" woman’s window. The off duty officer reported it to the police. The "potty mouth" was arrested for disorderly conduct.

I'm just glad to know the judge who overheard the case wasn't a total moron and actually saw how insane the case was. The judge found "potty mouth" innocent because it was her constitutional right, "freedom of speech." THANK GOD!!

I think this country keeps forgetting we have FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

I'd like to say also that at some point in life everyone will eventually say something that is going to offend someone else, or that will make someone else go, "OH MY!" I'm sick of hearing about idiots who get upset about some word, or "potty language" and flip out about it, put people on trial whether it be trial by defamation of character on TV, or trial by court. This is ridiculous!

We have a constitutional right to speak our minds. If someone hears us and doesn't like it, they have the right to leave the area the person speaking their mind is talking in, or to speak their mind and voice their discontent.

I don't like racism, or bigotry, or prejudices...But the truth is that even if we don't like what someone has to say, it is their freedom of speech, their constitutional right to voice their mind.

I'm sick of our constitutional rights being jeopardized by idiots!

Yes you have the right to free speech, But common decency and respect for others should also come into play. If you want swear like a drunkin sailor and show your lack of vocabulary thats fine, but do it in the privacy of your own home not in public...I hope they hang that cop out to dry...

Yeah I agree you should use common decency but the point is it's not illegal and it is our right
