I spoke to a counselor today, about how to get back to school.
having been sick for 5 months, my world basically just stopped turning.
so now I want to make sure that I make the right choice as of how I continue my education.
basically I can go back to school and be a year older than everyone else, ( whitch I would manage just fine)
or study on my own while doing other thing, like travel.
And this women, (the counselor), she just would not listen to me! she said that anything but going back to school every day is totally unexeptable for me, even though I know there are other options!
I mean, I have a hard enough time deciding what to do, and I dont need her to tell me exactly how to live my life.
she has to speek her mind, I respect that, BUT the reason why I called her was to get all my information right before I make my choice.
And she simply would not answer any question that didnt regard what SHE thought was best for ME.
when I have been sick, being in so much pain every day for so long, I need to think, and find something that is right for me.
I mean, she is supposed to be neutral, and anwer ANY question I might have.
sooo sooo frustrating..
aaaaargh!!

yeah they really do. that's because they THINK they know everything. they dont bring any aspect of psychology in it at all. by studying psychology, all these guys think they understand the human brain. that is a wrong assumption. the very reason to study and practice psychology is to understand what we dont. there need to be better people out there...

Yep..you got ahold of the wrong person. She only thinks inside the box. Keep pursuing it and maybe you can find the right thing for you. There are a lot of options out there.
