In California, there is a law which allows the mother of a newborn 3 days to hand it over to the hospital and walk away. Also adoption agencies are available to put unwanted children up for adoption. Must be a very sick individual to do this.

No so. The truth is harder to understand, there is a close relationship between unwanted children and local jail populations. In states where abortions are allowed the crime rates are much lower. The unwanted children born today are the jail inmates of tomorrow. Check it out.
