 What If?
Have you ever had a case of the "What Ifs"?

Well, I have made an interesting discovery today, that could help me to imagine what life would be like, if I had followed through on my desires.  I discovered an excellent way to answer those what if questions.

I was simply doing an online search of my maiden name, when I noticed that there were several people with my name. After sifting through all the results, I started noticing that for everything I had thought about doing, someone with my name has done!

For instance, as a child, I thought about becoming a vetenarian.  Lo & Behold!  There was a Penny Hudson who was a well-known vetenarian!  I also often think about becoming a professional freelance writer, or an authoress.  Sure enough, another Penny Hudson has become an authoress!

In addition, I have previously thought of making a living by making crafts, including indian beadwork items.  Yep!  You guessed it!  There is a Penny Hudson doing just that!

Another Penny Hudson has become the teacher I wanted to be, the bank manager my father thought I should be, and the fantastic nurse my mother thought I would become!

So although I have not done all these things on a professional level directly, I can imagine that all these other Penny Hudsons are me, only in alternative worlds.  It's like having all the "what if" questions answered!

What if I had been the Penny Hudson born in the U.K. instead of the one born in the U.S.?  Or, what if I was the one born in Australia, or the one born as a Tuscarora native american?

This works well using my married names as well.  So if I ever wonder what would have happened if I had done the things I wanted to do during a marriage, and did not do, I can find those alternative worlds as well!
