I was sitting at my desk last evening around 8 p.m. when my computer went left, I went right, and the floor beneath me rolled in a series of unsettling "waves."  Hello, earthquake!

Over the years I have had my fair share of earthquake adventures and this was not a strong one, but enough to remind me again how puny and vulnerable we mere mortals are.  The shaker was a 5.3 magnitude.  Such an exciting way to end my day!
