Life is slowly returning to normal as the skies are clearing of smoke and haze. It has been a long haul. I had to tell myself that somewhere the sky was still blue, the sun was still shining.
We are beginning to get back into normal summer activities - swimming, hiking, hanging out on the deck, riding the motorcycle. Now we can have windows and doors open again and enjoy the breeze without choking on hazardous air. Nice to have ya back, summer!
Am getting acquainted with the new car and loving it the more I get to know it. I think we made the right move at the right time.
Tammy hasn't been blogging 'cause her computer crashed. She had a long blog all set to go just before all was lost in cyberspace. She had to get a new hard drive and is starting over from scratch, so it may take awhile but I'm sure like our summer, she'll be back.
Nothing much to write about, but I wanted to keep in touch. Am looking forward to vacation in September and seeing y'all again. Till then...
